Always looking for new Thai places to check out and was excited to see this as an option. Ultimately, we enjoyed our meal and I would consider coming back vs. getting their lunch takeout special. We started with the fried salmon belly, a dish I hadn't had before. The crispiness was shocking when you then bit into such smooth salmon-a really jarring juxtaposition of texture. The sauce it came with was fine but not terribly special. We had also ordered the fish bomb but were told they ran out (we didn't need it). We got three mains: 1) Larb kua Chiangmai: Larb is one of my favorite Thai dishes and this was my favorite of the night. There was a generous portion of meat that was very well seasoned and spicy without being intolerable. The crudite was whatever for me but I did enjoy making small lettuce wraps with the meat and some rice. 2) Gaeng Hoh: This is a noodle dish I was not familiar with and ultimately didn't love. I do enjoy glass noodles but I didn't quite enjoy the flavoring of this-a bit too sour/fermented. This may just be what this dish is supposed to be. I don't understand totally why a noodle dish is served with sticky rice, though. 3) Khao Soi Chiang Mai: We love a good khao soi and this was a really nice dish. The noodles were delicious, the broth just right, and the beef so pull-apart tender. Always appreciate the crunch noodles on top. We made a reservation so got seated fairly quickly. The place itself is deceptively huge, which means that the environment is a bit loud. The decor is fun, tons of lights hanging with decorations on the wall. Because it was so crowded the service was, while super nice, a bit lacking (took us a while to get more water, for example). But the dishes came out surprisingly quick. Overall, a really nice meal.

We had a party of 7 and we were able to fit on a picnic table in the back of the restaurant. The service was quick and there was a nice ambiance for dinner. There were also coat racks which was a plus. Making the reservation was easy since the restaurant uses the resy app. The Gaeng Hung Lay was super tender and flavorful. Everything was at a solid price and portions were generous! Would recommend to a friend.

Really enjoyed my meal here. It was a lovely vibe inside and bustling with people. Loved the decor and plants scattered around the restaurant. The dishes we tried were unique and so flavorful. I loved the heartiness of the broth and the spicy kick it had. The short rib was incredibly tender and melt in your mouth. My only complaint was the fried platter we got. A bit bland overall so I wouldn't get it again.

We went there for dinner as a large group. The staff were so kind and accommodating. The food was really good as well as the multiple drinks we tried. The desserts were also really good. Great place with a lot of variety. It would definitely be coming back again!

I came by for dinner on a Saturday without a reservation and had no problem getting a table. There's a great variety of delicious and beautiful cocktails, along with beer/wine options. I highly recommend the Kanom Jean Nham Ngiaw, a famous fermented rice noodle dish- I had never had it anywhere else and it was delicious! The pork was so tender as well. The red curry was another great option.

Amazing food, very clean inside, & attentive & friendly service. Beautiful interior. The food here is off the hook. The green chili paste that comes w the rib eye steak is crazy !! The "fish bomb" fried fish app is also so good. Thinking about their food after having it at lunch today is making me go nuts now. Can't wait to go back ! The menu is giant - very difficult to decide what to order ! Cons - the music is really lame. They also don't need giant TVs facing the dining area playing nonsense.

This place is great for larger groups since they have an open space in the back with bigger tables. My friend had her birthday dinner here with 10 people and we didn't feel rushed or over crowded. Food and drinks were delicious & the service was wonderful! They also have a vegan section of their menu so that's amazing! Would definitely return.

I've been past this place countless times down Flushing Avenue and finally had a chance to visit for lunch last Saturday. What a delight! This place is so inviting and lovely, decor-wise, with the fresh plants and spacious seating. The service was a little slower probably bc they were busier but the food was quick to arrive, and was very good. I would recommend if visiting the Ridgewood neighborhood of Queens!

Chiangmai Diner is a must-try in Brookyln! Stopped by here with a party of 6 for dinner on a weeknight and we were seated right away. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Kor Moo Yang, which was delicious! I loved the fresh veggies and the meat was well-seasoned. I especially loved the sauce that came with it as it had a nice kick to it. Definitely recommend checking out this place for authentic Thai cuisine!
